This animated movie that is directed by Lauren Montgomery is a direct-to-video animation movies based on comic Superman/Batman about The Supergirl from Krypton. Superman/Batman: Apocalyspe is also a sequel from Superman/Batman: Public Enemies which released recently, and the sixth original animated movie that is released by DC Universe. The title actually not describes the actual storyline because Superman/Batman: Apocalypse emphasizes the introduction of Supergirl's character and her relationship with Superman. Batman only has a role as a supporting character only in the story.
