The CW’s Official Description : ZOD UNLEASHES A VIRUS INTO METROPOLIS - Zod (Callum Blue) and his soldiers release a virus into the air that turns humans into zombies. The only way to stop it is to make an antidote from the blood of another Kryptonian. After Lois (Erica Durance) is infected, Chloe (Allison Mack) pleads with Clark (Tom Welling) to donate his blood to stop the epidemic, even though it risks outing him to Zod. . Michael Rohl directed the episode written by Jordan Hawley (#3X5253).

ZOD MELEPASKAN SEBUAH VIRUS KE METROPOLIS-Zod (Callum Blue) dan pasukannya melepas sebuah virus ke udara yang mengubah manusia menjadi zombie. - Both Tess and Lois are infected by the plague.
- Cameron Bancroft, whose previous credits include 24 and the original Beverly Hills 90210, plays Dr. Coats, a virologist who is working on the zombie plague.
- Don’t get too attached to the current Green Arrow costume - Oliver burns it in this episode.
Executive Producer Brian Peterson tells Entertainment Weekly that in episode 3, Lois (Erica Durance) and Clark (Tom Welling) are "in the trenches fighting zombies, and when they catch their breath from fighting, [romantic] sparks will fly."
